Updated 2026-11-04 · 5 min read · Prices and schedules change — check locally.
Find places to stay →Where are the all-inclusive resorts?
Mainly Durrës–Golem, Vlorë, and the Ksamil–Sarandë area.
Durrës and Golem have the most large beach hotels with packages and are close to Tirana Airport. The south has fewer, smaller resorts and more boutique hotels.
All-inclusive vs independent
All-inclusive is easier; independent is usually cheaper and more local.
| All-inclusive | Independent | |
|---|---|---|
| Planning | None | Some |
| Food | Buffet, same every day | Local seafood and taverns |
| Typical cost | Fixed, paid upfront | Often lower in total |
| Best for | Families, short breaks | Couples, road trips, foodies |
What is usually included?
Meals, local drinks and sunbeds — check the details for each hotel.
Imported drinks, à-la-carte restaurants and excursions are often extra. Read what the package covers before you book.
When is it worth it?
In July–August with kids, when beaches and restaurants are busiest.
In May, June and September, independent travel is relaxed and great value.
