LoveAlbania ("we") runs lovealbania.dev and the LoveAlbania apps for iOS and Android. This policy explains what we collect and your choices.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, display name and, if you sign in with Google, your Google name and profile picture.
- Profile data you choose to add — photo, bio, home country, current town, languages.
- Community content — posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, meetups you host or join, private messages, blocks and reports.
- Data stored only on your device — trip plans, trail check-ins, host kit details and language choice are saved in your browser/app and never sent to us unless you share them.
- Basic usage statistics — anonymous page-view counts (page, country, device type). No advertising trackers.
Location
We do not track your location. Maps show places you choose; nothing about your position is sent to us.
How we use it
- To run your account and show your posts, meetups and messages to other travelers.
- To keep the community safe (reviewing reports, removing abuse).
- We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Public posts, comments, meetups and your profile are visible to other visitors. Private messages are only visible to you and the recipient. Our hosting and database provider processes data on our behalf. Booking links (GetYourGuide, Booking.com, etc.) take you to those companies, whose own privacy policies apply — see our affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, meetups, messages and reports immediately and permanently.
Your rights
You can view and edit your data in your profile, and delete your account there at any time with the "Delete my account" button. You may also email us to request a copy or deletion of your data (GDPR rights of access, correction, erasure and portability).
Children
The community is not intended for anyone under 16.
