Are there luggage lockers at Albanian bus stations?

Generally no. Tirana's bus terminals and most town bus stops don't have staffed left-luggage or lockers.

Don't plan on finding storage at the station — arrange it before you arrive.

Where can I store luggage in Tirana?

Ask your hotel or hostel first. Storage apps also list shops and cafés in central Tirana that hold bags for a daily fee.

Book in the app, drop the bag and keep the confirmation. Check opening hours so you can collect it when your bus leaves.

Where do I leave my suitcase for the Theth–Valbona hike?

In Shkodër. Many hostels and guesthouses there store bags for hikers doing the loop, often for free or a small fee.

The usual loop is Shkodër → Theth → hike to Valbona → Komani ferry → back to Shkodër, so you return to your bag. Pack a small day pack with water, layers and cash — there are no ATMs in Theth or Valbona.

Do furgons take big suitcases?

Usually yes, in the boot or on the roof, sometimes for a small extra charge. Space fills fast in summer.

Arrive early, keep valuables with you, and ask the driver before loading.
