What is the Kune-Vain Lagoon known for?

First protected in 1940, Kune-Vain-Tale now forms part of the larger Kune-Vain-Tale-Patok-Fushëkuqe-Ishëm reserve, covering around 8,092 hectares. It serves as a vital stopover for over 200 bird species, including the Dalmatian pelican and various types of ducks and egrets. The landscape is a transition between the Drin River delta and the Adriatic Sea.
How do you get to Kune-Vain from Lezhë?
The lagoon is located about 10 kilometres west of Lezhë and is best reached by private car or taxi.
