It's both transport and one of the country's best day trips. Fares are about 1,000–1,500 ALL for passengers.
How do I get to the Koman ferry?
Most travellers take an early morning shuttle from Shkodër to the Koman dock, often arranged by the ferry operator or a guesthouse.
The road to the dock is winding; allow plenty of time if driving yourself.
Can I take a car on the Koman ferry?
Some boats carry a small number of cars, so reserve ahead in summer. Passenger-only boats are more common.
Confirm the vehicle space directly with the operator before travelling.
How do I combine Koman with the Theth–Valbona hike?
A popular loop is Shkodër → Theth by furgon, hike to Valbona, then minibus to Fierzë and ferry back to Koman and Shkodër.
